Build Strength - Fire, Water, Earth

I came out of a severe state of depletion. I was 160-165lbs and 6’3”. A year later I’m 190+ and 6’4” of muscle. I’m 37yo. This year I’ll add another 25lb, and likely the same the year after that.

I didn’t work out that hard. I ate a lot, but not a ton like body builders do.

Some things that are smart about gym culture:

  • maximizing your effort + workout

  • paying attention to your diet to get the macros you need

Some big blind spots:

  • elemental theory

  • nutrition delivery

  • which systems are depleted, or dry

    • lymph

    • nerves

    • bones

    • muscles

  • you need your rivers flowing and nourished to build strength

  • if your bones are depleted, you wont be able to feed them to get stronger, your body will plateau

  • if youre a skinny guy you need to bulk, and you need to make sure htese systems are hydrated and fed to get the results you want

  • there are some easy hacks to get this going

  • there are some important diet patterns to get right

  • and there is some important bodywork to ensure your rivers are flowing and that you can gain more strength
